Pasta Granny Tomato Sauce Secret
Pasta grannies all know this secret trick to pull the very best flavor out of their tomatoes and it couldn’t be simpler or faster. Leave it to a granny to know how to wrestle those tomatoes into submission!
Ingredients
4-5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
3-4 tbsp olive oil
tomatoes
salt
sumac
paprika
pepper
parmesan cheese
pasta
basil
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Saute the garlic until fragrant.

Toss in the tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.

Cook the pasta al dente in a separate pot.

Season the tomato sauce with salt, sumac, paprika, and pepper.

Smash the tomatoes flat and cook it down a bit more.

Grate the fabulous aged parmesan cheese.

Add the cooked pasta to the tomato sauce and give it a good stir.

Add some pasta water to sauce it up.

Dress the pasta with 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese.

Sliver up a bit of basil and sprinkle it on top.
