Everyday Hummus for Every Day
Learn how to make hummus in a blender in just one minute and you’ll never have a reason NOT to have this incredibly nutritious snack on hand when you’re looking for a little somethin’. If you have a can of chickpeas and a few other pantry staples, you’ll have the fluffiest hummus ever.
Ingredients
15 oz garbanzo beans, rinsed
juice of 1 lemon
1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced or 1 tbsp garlic paste
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/4 cup tahini paste
ice water
paprika
Instructions

In a blender or food processor, combine the rinsed garbanzo beans, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, sea salt, lemon zest, and tahini paste.

Start blending on a slow speed and gradually increase to high speed until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

Pause the blending process and scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.

If the hummus is too thick, add a little bit of ice water to thin it out. Blend again until desired consistency is reached.

Transfer the hummus to a serving plate and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle of some paprika.
