Garlicky Shrimp Pasta
So simple, yet so elegant. This richly flavored pasta dish comes together in a few minutes for those nights when you’re just too tired to cook!
Ingredients
1 kg shrimp, heads removed, and shells reserved
1 kg pasta
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp Mediterranean sea salt
2 cubes Maggi
2 tbsp Picual olive oil
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
parmesan cheese, grated
parsley, chopped
Instructions

Begin by making the shrimp stock. In a pan, add a little olive oil and the reserved shrimp shells and heads. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the broth turns orange-red. Strain the broth and set aside.

Prepare the shrimp by removing the shells and veins. Set aside.

In a mortar and pestle, pound the garlic, sea salt, and Maggi cubes into a paste.

Cook the pasta according to package instructions.

In a pan, add a little olive oil and sauté the shrimp until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the Picual olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and garlic paste. Cook for a minute until fragrant.

Add the shrimp back into the pan along with the shrimp stock. Let it simmer for a few minutes.

Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the shrimp and sauce. Mix well.

Serve the pasta with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.
