Healthy Twist on Classic Greek Tzatziki

It’s so simple to make anything healthier when you swap out cream or mayo for think zero-fay Greek yogurt and this classic Greek tzatziki dish is no exception. What a lovely way to celebrate summer and stay beach-ready while you’re enjoying it!

Ingredients

1 small cucumber, diced
fresh dill, cut into feathery pieces
2 cloves of garlic, smashed and diced
juice of 1 lemon
1 cup healthy yogurt (replace sour cream)
pinch of chili pepper
sea salt and pepper, to taste
extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling

Instructions

Start by dicing the small cucumber into small pieces.

Cut the fresh dill into feathery pieces.

Smash and dice the 2 cloves of garlic.

Juice the lemon.

In a bowl, swap sour cream for 1 cup of healthy yogurt.

Add the diced cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and dill to the bowl.

Give everything a quick stir to combine.

Spice up the mixture with a pinch of chili pepper, sea salt, and pepper to your taste.

Finish off the tzatziki with a final drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
